What is a retainer program?

A monthly design retainer is a great way to ensure that your business has access to new marketing materials on an on-going monthly basis. These marketing materials will be form fitted for your business and with your end goal in mind. Hopping between designers when immediate needs arise causes stress, wastes time, and constantly leaves your brand in the hands of a stranger. As a monthly retainer client, you will have priority with your requests and peace of mind knowing that I have an intimate knowledge of your company and your needs.

Savings & Discounts – The more hours you commit to, the lower the rates you receive.
More Time & Peace of Mind – You will get priority! Since you are paying in advance, a block of time is already allocated to you each month. You can set deadlines with peace of mind that your project will be complete before they hit. Access to a professional designer with knowledge of your company without the overhead associated with hiring an employee gives you less stress.
Professional Designs – No need to worry about designing your own projects or learning a whole new program – leave the work to us! You don’t have to worry about outsourcing design work to multiple people. The quality and design language will be consistent across all of your projects.

What type of design work is included in the Graphic Designer Retainer program?

Print Materials/Ad Design – sales sheets, direct mailers, brochures, event programs, signage
Digital Materials/Ad Design – email templates, social media graphics, blog banners, and other web graphics

Services do not include additional costs like stock photography and fonts.
Additional services are available upon request. Contact us if you want a service that is not listed.

**Please note: Services do not include logo design. Logos will be charged at hourly rate of $55/hour.**

What are the details of the Retainer program?

• The retainer program is only for clients who already have their basic brand guidelines and logo complete, new logo designs and anything within the logo design section does not fall under this program.
• A minimum 3-month commitment is required.
• A set number of hours is allocated each month. Please see pricing below. This is based on 10, 20 or 30 hours per month. Any overage in design time will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
• Payment will be due on the 1st of each month, for the month ahead.
• Unused retainer hours will expire at the end of each month, they do not roll over.
• We will let you know if we are running close to hitting your monthly hours. If additional time is needed for the month, you will be made aware before committing to pay extra.
